What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Tenant was properly served with notice of the hearing but did not attend.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the Landlords $2,530.83 in rent arrears and $175 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by December 18, 2020, the Tenant will start to owe simple interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
