What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after serving a valid Notice to End Tenancy Early for Non-payment of Rent (N4 Notice), which the tenants did not void by paying the arrears. The ruling

The Tenants must pay the Landlords $15,190.29, which includes rent arrears, compensation, and application filing fees, less the rent deposit and interest owed on the deposit. The Tenants can void the eviction order by paying $16,293.48 on or before October 31, 2021, or $17,394.36 on or before November 8, 2021.
