What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after serving a valid Notice to End Tenancy Early for Non-payment of Rent (N4 Notice), which the tenants did not void by paying the arrears.

The ruling

The Tenants shall pay the Landlord $3,310.00 in rent arrears up to October 31, 2021, and $186.00 for the application filing fee. If the full amount is not paid by January 23, 2022, the Tenants will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
