What happened

Landlord applied for an order requiring Tenants to pay the rent they owed. The Tenants did not pay the total rent they were required to pay for the period from October 1, 2021 to October 31, 2021, and were in possession of the rental unit on the date the application was filed. The Tenants made no payments since the application was filed.

The ruling

The Tenants shall pay the Landlord $946.51 in rent arrears and $201.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by March 7, 2022, they will start to owe interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
