What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant's failure to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board. The previous order required the Tenant to pay $1,000 by August 15, 2021, which the Tenant did not do.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective September 26, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $5,286 for rent arrears and the previous application fee. The Tenant must also pay $27.95 per day in compensation for use of the unit starting September 1, 2021 until the Tenant moves out. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by September 26, 2021, the Landlord can file the order with the Sheriff to enforce the eviction.
