What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent and meet conditions specified in a previous LTB order. The Tenants failed to pay $1,063.00 towards arrears by November 15, 2022, and failed to pay lawful monthly rent for December 2022 by December 1, 2022.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective January 31, 2023. Tenants must pay $13,284.17 plus $51.55 per day starting January 21, 2023, until they vacate. If not vacated by January 31, 2023, the Landlord may file for eviction enforcement. The Tenants have until January 30, 2023, to file a motion to set aside the order.
