What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants because the Tenants gave a notice to terminate the tenancy. Tenant Mathew Mcinttyre gave the Landlord a notice to terminate their tenancy effective November 30, 2020 and moved out of the unit. Jeff Allen did not move out of the rental unit by the termination date set out in the notice.

The ruling

The tenancy between the Landlord and the Tenants is terminated. The Tenants must move out of the rental unit on or before April 26, 2021. If the unit is not vacated on or before April 26, 2021, then starting April 27, 2021, the Landlord may file this order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) so that the eviction may be enforced.
