What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to meet conditions specified in a previous consent order. The Tenants failed to pay $671.00 towards arrears by October 24, 2021, and failed to pay the full lawful monthly rent by November 1, 2021, breaching paragraphs 1 and 2 of the consent order.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated, and Tenants must vacate the unit by January 15, 2022. Tenants are ordered to pay $7,060.13 to the Landlord, representing rent owing up to January 4, 2022, less the rent deposit and interest. Additional compensation of $44.12 per day is due from January 5, 2022, until the Tenants vacate. If the unit is not vacated by January 15, 2022, the Landlord may file for eviction enforcement.
