What happened
The landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the tenant due to the tenant's failure to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board. The tenant was found to have interfered with the reasonable enjoyment of the unit by yelling, banging pots, banging doors, and threatening violence on several occasions.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated, and the tenant must move out by March 12, 2022. The tenant is ordered to pay the landlord $186 for the previous application fee and $24.36 per day for compensation for use of the unit from March 2, 2022 until the move-out date. If the tenant does not pay the full amount by March 12, 2022, they will start accruing interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
