What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The Tenant had not paid the total rent required from December 1, 2020 to December 31, 2021. The Landlords served a Notice of Termination effective September 12, 2021.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant voids the order by paying $28,286.00 by January 16, 2022. The Tenant must pay $23,997.81 plus $75.62 per day starting January 6, 2022, for rent arrears and compensation. If not paid, the Landlords may file for eviction enforcement starting January 17, 2022.
