What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant's failure to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board. The previous order required the Tenant to pay $300 by July 20, 2021, which the Tenant did not do.

The ruling

The previous order SWL-41165-20 is cancelled. The tenancy is terminated, and the Tenant must move out by August 27, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlords $600 for rent arrears and costs, plus $21.37 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting August 1, 2021 until the Tenant moves out. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by August 27, 2021, the Tenant will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
