What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant because the Landlord requires possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation. The Tenant requested a review of the order and that the order be stayed until the request to review the order is resolved. The Tenant alleged that they were not reasonably able to participate in the proceeding and that the order contains a serious error.

The ruling

The request to review order HOL-07725-20 issued on April 16, 2021 is denied. The order is confirmed and remains unchanged. The interim order issued on June 1, 2021 is cancelled. The stay of order HOL-07725-20 is lifted on September 30, 2021.
