What happened

Landlords applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenants due to the Tenants' behavior seriously impairing the safety of others in the residential complex. The Landlords alleged the Tenant became agitated, swung her arms, and slapped one of the Landlords during a unit inspection. The Landlords also observed a large tent set up in the living room that blocked access to one of the bedrooms, and a vehicle belonging to the Tenants that was leaking gasoline and causing fumes that prevented another tenant from opening their window.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective February 23, 2021. The Tenants must vacate the rental unit by that date. If the unit is not vacated, the Landlords may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) to have the eviction enforced starting February 24, 2021. The Sheriff is requested to expedite the enforcement of this order.
