What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The Tenants had vacated the rental unit on September 2, 2020 prior to the hearing.

The ruling

The Tenants are ordered to pay the Landlords $6,551.00 for rent arrears and filing costs by December 10, 2021. If the full amount is not paid by that date, the Tenants will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
