What happened
Landlords applied to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to substantial interference with the Landlords' lawful rights, privileges or interests, and for damages caused by the Tenants or their guests.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective November 3, 2021. The Tenants must vacate the rental unit by November 14, 2021. The Tenants are ordered to pay the Landlords $441.89, which includes $200 for repair of the dryer, $55.89 per day for compensation for use of the unit from November 4, 2021 to the move-out date, and $186 for the application filing fee. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by November 14, 2021, they will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
