What happened

Landlords applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to non-payment of rent and the Landlords' need for personal use of the rental unit. The parties agreed to terminate the tenancy as of February 28, 2021.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective February 28, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlords $9,270.93, plus $31.23 per day starting January 28, 2021 until the Tenant vacates. The Landlords must inspect and repair the noisy dryer and cable issue. If the Landlords fail to do so by February 15, 2021, the Tenant may deduct 2% daily from the rent.
