What happened

Landlord applied for termination of tenancy and eviction due to Tenants' failure to meet conditions specified in a previous LTB order. Tenants filed a motion to set aside a subsequent order. Parties agreed to a new payment schedule for rent arrears.

The ruling

The Board set aside the previous order and established a new payment schedule for the Tenants to pay $13,571.54 in rent arrears. Tenants must pay $250 monthly from April 20, 2023, to September 20, 2027, with a final payment of $71.54 on October 20, 2027. Tenants must also pay new rent on time. If Tenants breach the agreement, the Landlord may apply for eviction within 30 days.
