What happened
Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to persistent late payment of rent.
The ruling
The tenancy between the Landlords and the Tenant is terminated, effective October 10, 2021. The Tenant must move out of the rental unit on or before October 10, 2021. The Tenant shall pay to the Landlords $8,101.53, which represents compensation for the use of the unit from March 1, 2021 to September 29, 2021, less the rent deposit and interest the Landlords owe on the rent deposit. The Tenant shall also pay to the Landlords $44.38 per day for compensation for the use of the unit from September 30, 2021 to the date the Tenant moves out of the unit. The Tenant shall also pay to the Landlords $186.00 for the cost of filing the application.
