What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenants failed to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective August 16, 2020. The Tenants must pay the Landlords $3,635.29 (less any amount paid after the application was filed) for rent arrears up to May 31, 2020, plus $61.33 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting June 1, 2020 until the Tenants move out. If the full amount is not paid by August 16, 2020, the Tenants will owe interest.
