What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent as per the mediated settlement issued by the Board on December 4, 2019.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective August 18, 2020. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $12,411.26 (less any amount paid after the application was filed) and $73.97 per day in compensation starting April 1, 2020 until they vacate the unit. If the full amount is not paid by August 18, 2020, the Tenants will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
