Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant's failure to pay $200 towards rent arrears by the deadline specified in a previous order.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective October 29, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $1,438 in rent arrears and $16.34 per day in compensation for use of the unit starting October 1, 2021 until the Tenant vacates. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by October 29, 2021, interest will accrue at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
