What happened
Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after serving a valid Notice to End Tenancy Early for Non-payment of Rent (N4 Notice), which the tenants did not void by paying the arrears.
The ruling
The tenancy will be terminated effective September 30, 2021 unless the Tenants pay $15,186 to the Landlord or to the Board in trust by that date to void the eviction order and continue the tenancy. If the Tenants do not make this payment, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) so that the eviction may be enforced starting October 1, 2021.
