What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant or someone permitted by Tenant causing undue damage to the rental unit stove and substantially interfering with the Landlord's lawful rights.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $508.50 for the cost of repairing the damage and $186 for the application fee. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by December 10, 2021, the tenancy will terminate effective December 31, 2021 and the Tenant must move out. If the Tenant does not comply, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office to enforce the eviction starting January 1, 2022.
