What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Tenant raised an issue about the landlord damaging the stove during repairs.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective May 14, 2020. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $1,952.85, which includes rent arrears and compensation, less the abatement amount. The Tenant must also pay the $190 application fee. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by October 6, 2020, they will owe interest.
