What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to non-payment of rent. The Tenants failed to pay rent from February 1, 2021, to August 31, 2021. The Landlord served a Notice of Termination effective March 19, 2021. The Tenants did not attend the hearing.

The ruling

The Tenants are ordered to pay $7,660.83 for rent arrears and compensation up to January 6, 2022, plus $31.03 per day starting January 7, 2022, and $186.00 for the application fee. If not paid, the Landlord may file for eviction enforcement starting January 18, 2022.
