What happened

Tenant applied for an order determining that the Landlord harassed, obstructed, coerced, threatened or interfered with them, entered the rental unit illegally, substantially interfered with the reasonable enjoyment of the rental unit or residential complex, and withheld or deliberately interfered with the reasonable supply of a vital service that the Landlord is obligated to supply under the tenancy agreement.

The ruling

The tenancy relationship between the Tenant and the Landlord is exempt from the Residential Tenancies Act because of their shared living situation and accommodation. The Board has no jurisdiction to hear the Tenant's application and the application is dismissed.
