What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent as per the mediated settlement issued by the Board on November 2, 2020.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective December 10, 2021. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $4,041 in rent arrears and $11.67 per day in compensation for use of the unit starting November 1, 2021 until the date they move out. If the full amount is not paid by December 10, 2021, the Tenants will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
