What happened
The Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant because the Tenant failed to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board. The condition was that the Tenant shall properly prepare the rental unit for pest treatment and shall permit access for and allow the Landlord's pest control contractor entry to the unit when served with proper notice. The Landlord served the Tenant a notice of entry for a pest control treatment, but the Tenant did not properly prepare the unit as required.
The ruling
The tenancy between the Landlord and the Tenant is terminated. The Tenant must move out of the rental unit on or before September 26, 2021. If the unit is not vacated by that date, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) to have the eviction enforced.
