What happened
The Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant's failure to pay rent as ordered in a previous LTB order.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective August 31, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $6,801.62 in outstanding rent arrears and costs, plus $42.81 per day in compensation for use of the unit from August 21, 2021 until the Tenant moves out. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by August 31, 2021, interest will accrue at 2% annually on the outstanding balance. If the unit is not vacated by August 31, 2021, the Landlord may file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement.
