What happened
Landlord applied for an order requiring Tenant to pay the rent that the Tenant owes. The Tenant vacated the rental unit on February 28, 2022 and did not pay the total rent they were required to pay for the period from December 1, 2021 to February 28, 2022.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective February 28, 2022. The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $185.96, which includes rent arrears up to February 28, 2022 and the cost of the application, minus the rent deposit and interest owed on the deposit.
