What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant, another occupant, or someone Tenant permitted causing undue damage to the rental unit and complex. Landlord also sought compensation for the damage.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $2,073.55 for the reasonable costs of repairing the damage and/or replacing the damaged property, as well as $186.00 for the cost of filing the application, for a total of $2,259.55. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by December 10, 2021, the Tenant will start to owe simple interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
