What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenant failed to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective July 11, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $14,928.87, which includes the remaining rent arrears from the previous order and the daily compensation for occupying the unit after July 1, 2021. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by July 11, 2021, they will owe interest starting July 12, 2021 and the Landlord can file the order with the Sheriff to enforce the eviction.
