What happened
Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to persistent late payment of rent. The Tenant had paid rent late for the last 12 months, except for the first 3-4 months of the tenancy.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective November 30, 2020. The Tenant must vacate the unit by that date. The Tenant owes the Landlord $2,262.07, which includes compensation for use of the unit, the application fee, and interest on the rent deposit. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by October 31, 2020, they will owe interest on the outstanding balance starting November 1, 2020.
