The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective March 30, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $7,181.62, which includes rent arrears up to March 19, 2021, less the rent deposit and interest owed on the deposit. The Tenant must also pay $34.88 per day for use of the unit from March 20, 2021 until the Tenant vacates. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by March 30, 2021, the Tenant will owe interest starting March 31, 2021.
