What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after serving a valid Notice to End Tenancy Early for Non-payment of Rent (N4 Notice), which the tenants did not void by paying the arrears. The tenants are ordered to pay $1,735.40 to the landlord, which includes rent arrears up to the termination date and compensation for use of the unit, plus $23.80 per day starting February 12, 2022 until the unit is vacated. If the tenants pay $2,656.00 on or before February 22, 2022, the eviction order will be void and the tenancy will continue.
