What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenants failed to meet certain conditions specified in a previous order issued by the Board.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective July 18, 2021. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $11,805.56, which includes rent arrears up to July 7, 2021 and the costs related to the previous application, less the rent deposit and interest owed on the deposit. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by July 18, 2021, they will owe interest starting July 19, 2021. If the unit is not vacated by July 18, 2021, the Landlord can file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement.
