What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenants failed to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective November 15, 2021. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $16,456.21, which includes rent arrears up to October 31, 2021 and costs from the previous application, less the rent deposit and interest owed on the deposit. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by November 15, 2021, they will owe interest starting November 16, 2021 and the Landlord can file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement.
