What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. Landlord also applied to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant for persistent late payment of rent. The Tenant did not attend the hearing.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective May 31, 2021 unless the Tenant pays the full amount owing by April 30, 2021 or May 31, 2021. If the Tenant voids the order by making the required payment, the tenancy may continue but the Tenant must pay rent on time for the next 12-13 months.
