What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after serving a valid Notice to End Tenancy Early for Non-payment of Rent (N4 Notice), which the tenants did not void by paying the arrears. The ruling
The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant pays $11,822 by 2023-02-19 to void the order and continue the tenancy. If the Tenant does not pay, they must move out by 2023-02-19 and pay the Landlord $10,631 plus daily compensation of $39.16 from 2023-02-01 until move-out. The Landlord is entitled to file the order with the Sheriff to enforce the eviction if the unit is not vacated.
