What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant's failure to pay utility costs and substantial interference with the reasonable enjoyment or lawful right, privilege or interest of the Landlord or another tenant.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated, and the Tenant must move out by February 6, 2023. If the unit is not vacated by that date, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $1,214.56 for unpaid utility costs and $201 for the application filing fee. If the full amount is not paid by February 6, 2023, the Tenant will owe interest at 5% annually on the outstanding balance.
