What happened

Landlords applied for an order requiring Tenants to pay the rent they owed. The Tenants vacated the rental unit on June 1, 2022, but did not pay the full rent for the period from April 1, 2022 to June 1, 2022.

The ruling

The Tenants shall pay the Landlords $400.00, which includes rent arrears up to June 1, 2022 and the cost of the application. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by February 3, 2023, they will start to owe interest at 5.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
