What happened

The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective August 9, 2020, the date the Tenant vacated the rental unit. The Tenant is ordered to pay the Landlord $6,221.88, which includes rent arrears and compensation, less the rent deposit and interest owed on the deposit. The Tenant must also pay the Landlord $175 for the cost of filing the application.
