What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The Tenant was properly served with notice of the hearing but did not attend.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective July 20, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $87.86 in rent arrears and compensation, plus $4.31 per day starting July 7, 2021 until the Tenant moves out. The Tenant must also pay $186.00 for the application filing fee. If the Tenant pays $379.00 on or before July 20, 2021, the eviction order will be void and the tenancy will continue.
