What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent as per the previous order issued by the LTB on November 24, 2022.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective April 7, 2023. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $1,072.63 in rent arrears and application fees, plus $9.93 per day in compensation starting March 28, 2023 until the Tenant moves out. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by April 7, 2023, the Tenant will owe interest at 5% annually on the outstanding balance.
