What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The ruling
The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant pays the outstanding amount by the deadlines provided. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $4,642.84, which includes rent arrears up to the hearing date and the cost of filing the application. The Tenant must also pay daily compensation of $24.49 for each day of occupation starting March 17, 2023 until the Tenant moves out. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by the deadlines, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement of the eviction on or after August 1, 2023.
