What happened

The Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenants due to an incident where the male Tenant allegedly assaulted one of the Landlord's contractors by throwing a chair at him. The Landlord also claimed the Tenants contravened physical distancing by-laws. The Tenants disputed the Landlord's version of events, stating the contractor started the altercation.

The ruling

The Tenants shall not engage in any illegal acts or impair the safety of any person in the residential complex. If the Tenants fail to comply, the Landlord may apply to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenants without further notice.
