What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent as per the previous LTB order. The Tenant did not meet the conditions specified in the previous order to pay the rent arrears and the July 2023 rent.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective August 7, 2023. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $5,348.53 plus $45.66 per day from July 28, 2023 until the Tenant vacates the unit. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by August 7, 2023, the Tenant will owe interest at 6% annually on the outstanding balance.
