What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to their failure to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board on May 13, 2021 with respect to application TEL-06518-19. The condition was to keep the exterior of the residential unit free of debris and garbage, which the Tenants failed to do on October 27, November 5, and November 9, 2021.

The ruling

The tenancy between the Landlord and the Tenants is terminated. The Tenants must move out of the rental unit on or before January 16, 2021. The Landlord is authorized to offset $14.76 per day for compensation for the use of the unit starting January 6, 2021 to the date the Tenants move out. If the unit is not vacated by January 16, 2021, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) for enforcement starting January 17, 2021.
