What happened
Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant or someone the Tenant permitted causing undue damage to the rental unit, committing an illegal act involving drugs, and seriously impairing the safety of others in the residential complex.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective August 27, 2021. The Tenant must vacate the rental unit by that date. The Tenant is ordered to pay the Landlord $1,153.95 for the cost of repairing the damage and $186 for the application filing fee. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by August 22, 2021, they will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
