What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to non-payment of rent. A valid N4 Notice was served, which Tenants did not void. Parties reached a repayment agreement before the hearing.
The ruling
The Board ordered a repayment plan for the Tenants to pay $4,230.07 in arrears and costs to the Landlord over 12 monthly installments. The Tenants must also pay new rent in full starting March 1, 2023. If the Tenants default on the payment plan, the Landlord may apply for termination and eviction within 30 days of the breach.
